M-VAVE Chocolate is a versatile Wireless MIDI footswitch that I bought for the purpose of controlling my BOSS KATANA MK 2 amplifier.

However, I also found and tried it’s capability to control the playback and pause on the Cakewalk by Bandlab D.A.W. which I use to record my guitar on my computer.

The M-VAVE Chocolate can also be a wireless mouse that simulate tapping the elements on an android phone.

To connect the M-VAVE Chocolate wirelessly through bluetooth to my Android phone, it needs the accompanying CubeSuite app to be installed and open on the phone. The video shows the QR code to scan for downloading the app.

To control my BOSS KATANA MK 2 guitar amplifier without touching the amplifier’s knobs and buttons, I use a paid version of the KATANA Librarian app for Android. That app detects the BOSS KATANA once the amp is connected to the phone via USB to OTG cable.

Finally, the KATANA Librarian app detects the M-VAVE footswitch by scanning for Bluetooth devices in the settings. And then, I can proceed with programming what I want the BOSS KATANA amp to do when I step on the individual footswitches of the M-VAVE Chocolate wireless MIDI controller.
